Terms of Service
Last updated 24 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Detlo. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Detlo.
1. What Detlo is
Detlo is booking and business-management software for independent car detailers (“Detailers”). It provides a shareable booking page, scheduling and calendar tools, client management, and automated customer emails and reminders.
Detlo is a tool you use to run your own business. We are not a party to the agreement between a Detailer and their customers, and we don't provide detailing services ourselves.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Detlo. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and take responsibility for all activity that happens under your account.
3. Access & pricing
Detlo is currently free to use. You can create an account and access all features at no charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future, and we will give you advance notice by email before any charges apply to your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Detlo to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights;
- Upload content you don’t have the right to use, or that is misleading or harmful;
- Send spam, or contact customers who have asked you not to;
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
- Resell or sublicense Detlo without our written permission.
5. Your responsibilities as a Detailer
You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings and prices, for honoring the bookings you accept, and for complying with the laws and tax rules that apply to your business. When you enter or collect your customers' information through Detlo, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for how you use it.
6. Your data and content
You own your business data and the content you add to Detlo. You grant us the permission needed to host and process that data so we can provide the service. For the information you collect about your own customers, you act as the data controller and Detlo acts as your processor, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party services
Detlo relies on trusted third parties to operate, including Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Google Maps (addresses and distances), and Supabase (hosting and database). Your use of Detlo also relies on these providers operating normally.
8. Intellectual property
Detlo, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to us. These Terms don't give you any ownership of the service itself — only the right to use it while your account is active.
9. Service availability & disclaimer
We work hard to keep Detlo reliable, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Detlo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost bookings. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to €100 DKK or the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Termination
You can stop using Detlo and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm Detlo or other users. When your account is closed, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy (within 7 days), except where we're required to keep certain records longer.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know. Continuing to use Detlo after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your country / state], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled by the courts located there.
